Born 1952 in Rochester, Kent. Studied English and European Literature at Essex University and MA in Anglo-Irish Literature at Leeds University. After thirty year career in UK Civil Service, took early retirement in 2009. Co-author of "A Half- Forgotten Triumph" in August 2013, nominated for MCC and ACS Book of the Year Awards. Currently writing book on Folkestone, with book on San Francisco to follow. Planning walking tours of Folkestone summer 2017.
